Love Creek County Park & Nature Center
Love Creek County Park & Nature Center features over 100 acres of meadows, forests, marshes and creeks. Visitors will enjoy hiking and skiing over 5 miles of trails. Of that, 1.8 miles are designated snowshoeing trails. There are also 3.5 miles of groomed fat bike trails. Fat tire bikes are available for rent, including two children’s bikes that were donated by Trek Bicycle of Granger. As of 2023, rental rates are $15 per hour or $25 for two hours, plus a daily $5 winter trail fee when the trails are groomed. Season passes are available, too. If there isn’t enough snow to groom the trails, then there will be no trail fee charged. Children’s fat tire bikes are always free to rent as long as an adult accompanies them.
An interpretive building offers a nature book shop, classrooms, a variety of displays and exhibits, and a popular wild-life observation window through which you can observe an assortment of birds and mammals throughout the year. Wildflowers are in bloom from April through October.
