To help manage summer crowds and keep parking convenient for everyone, the City of St. Joseph utilizes a paid parking program in the downtown district. Below is everything you need to know before you visit.
Parking Dates, Times and Rates
Effective Dates: June 12-Labor Day
Enforcement Hours: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily
Rate: $2.00 per hour
Time Limit: Parking can be purchased for up to 3 hours maximum per session.
Accessible Parking
St. Joseph is committed to welcoming all visitors. All ADA-designated parking spaces throughout downtown are free of charge. Please note that posted time limits still apply to these spaces, so be sure to check nearby signage.
Perks for City Residents
Are you a local? City of St. Joseph residents are eligible for free downtown parking. To receive your resident parking benefit, make sure to complete and submit the official Parking Permit Application before you head downtown.
