Where to vacation with your wheelchair
Southwest Michigan does an excellent job of making ADA accommodations for wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches and service animals. Roll down near the water at our nine accessible Lake Michigan beaches using paved sidewalks, boardwalks, ramps and beach wheelchairs. Or visit dozens of easy-to-access entertainment venues, shopping and dining locations, lodgings and much more. Here’s an overview of the fun that awaits.
Sensory-friendly activities abound here
You will find an array of sensory-friendly activities for those who want as little stimulation as possible to those with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder), dyspraxia or an insatiable appetite for stimulation. Add these places to your stay when planning where to visit.
