Lions Park Beach

Lions Park Beach is located at the south end of Lions Park Drive. It is a less-busy beach with three shelters, public restrooms, grills, picnic tables and playground equipment. Shade trees make it popular with young families. And with its easy access to the John and Dede Howard Family Recreational Trail, it's a popular launching point for walkers and bicyclists.

Silver Beach County Park

One of Southwest Michigan's most popular beaches, Silver Beach County Park stretches 2,450 feet from the mouth of the St. Joseph River to Park Street. And it's walkable from downtown St. Joseph!

Tiscornia Park

Built into dunes, Tiscornia Beach Park is a family-oriented park located on 16 acres along the shoreline of Lake Michigan at the northwest corner of St. Joseph. Walk to St. Joseph and Benton Harbor's iconic North Pier lighthouses. Take a seat in the sand to watch sailboats and lake freighters, fish off the pier, swim and picnic.

Jean Klock Park

A family-friendly destination, Jean Klock Park is one of the most beautiful, lesser-known beaches in Southwest Michigan. Enjoy Lake Michigan swimming, an observation trail up the dunes, a playground, a marsh and interdunal wetlands when you visit.

Rocky Gap County Park has 1,100 feet of Lake Michigan beach frontage. Overlooking Lake Michigan from a bluff in Benton Township, there is a spectacular panoramic view from the overlook deck.

Hagar Beach

This park offers paved parking, a wooden walkway and stairs to the beach along Lake Michigan below. Enjoy a shaded picnic area with metal grills and playground equipment above. Leashed dogs are allowed both on the beach and in the lake.

Roadside Park

A small, quieter dune park, Roadside Park is located on Blue Star Highway. Leashed dogs are welcome! The trail down to the beach from the parking lot is about .3 miles. Enjoy a sunset from the beach, or easily launch your kayak or stand-up paddle board in to Lake Michigan.
