Day 1: Friday!
Prepare for the weekend!
Check In at the Inn at Harbor Shores
I checked into my hotel and immediately felt relaxed. We had a luxurious room with a private balcony overlooking the water.
bread + bar
Dinner at Bread + Bar, a local farm-to-table, riverfront restaurant near the hotel, was a great start to the trip. Delicious bread!
See You In The Morning
You will find more fun to enjoy tomorrow.
Day 2: Saturday!
The weekend starts here!
Full Circle Cafe
A delightful breakfast at a charming cafe fueled me for a day of exploring. Southwest Michigan has so many unique breakfast spots to explore. See other suggestions here.
The Culinary Cottage
The cooking class at the Culinary Cottage was a highlight, learning to make delicious gluten-free cinnamon rolls. Book this experience early as they do sell out!
Lunch in the Arts District
Anemel, a local Tex-Mex favorite, certainly lived up to the hype. It has since closed, but you can find other local dining options in the Benton Harbor Arts District here.
Warren Dunes State Park
Sandboarding at Warren Dunes was thrilling! I rented equipment from Third Coast Paddling and had an absolute blast.
Emma Hearth & Market
Dinner at Emma Hearth & Market in Bridgman was an incredible farm-to-table feast. Some of the best pizza we’ve had!
See You In The Morning
You will find more fun to enjoy tomorrow.
Day 3: Sunday!
Winding down the weekend.
Verde Juice Box
A quick breakfast to-go from Verde Juice Box set me up for the day. Great and healthy options. Plus, a beautiful interior!
Fruit Acres Farm Market
Picking my own fresh produce at Fruit Acres Farm Market was one of my favorite activities! Cherries were in season while we were there and we had an amazing time picking them!
Hill District
Lunch at Hill District was a satisfying end to the culinary adventures and a chance to explore the Makers Trail. Pair great food with their craft beverages.
Paw Paw River
A relaxing kayak trip on the scenic Paw Paw River was the perfect way to unwind. I rented my kayaks from Third Coast Paddling and enjoyed the peaceful waters.
