Coolers are uniquely allowed and picnics are encouraged.
Pricing for a private charter is only $370 for the boat to yourself (and 5 friends).
Welcome to Tall Ship MJ
MJ is a vintage sailing schooner that has that "old friend" feeling even when meeting her for the first time! She is a warm, charming, wooden schooner built in 1975, but modeled after workboats from Nova Scotia that were popular about 100 years ago.
Sailing
Her day job is to share the timeless wonder of sailing ships on the Inland Seas. She is available for daily sailing excursions, private events, or special group programs.
Maritime Magic
Each trip is infused with special details to help guests feel the magic of the bygone days of old sailing ships, their songs, and stories.
Our Mission
As a member of MAST Fleet, tall ship MJ shares the Maritime Academy and Sail Training's mission of bringing the life-changing influence of the world's waterways, its exploration, culture, and skills to all who seek it. We connect people to boats, to water, and to each other.
