At each participating location, make a purchase and ask your server for the QR code, then scan in the app to check in. Each check-in brings you closer to up to four rewards and entry into the Grand Prize drawing. Rewards available while supplies last.
Once you’ve earned 10 unique check-ins, you’ll unlock the first reward. Keep going to earn as many as you can. The app automatically tracks your progress and displays the number of levels you’ve completed. Once you’ve earned all the prizes you’d like, submit your Passport and fill out the form. It’s that easy.

Complete any level and stay at least one night at a participating hotel to earn a 16-ounce Makers Trail YETI® Travel Bottle with commuter cap.

Each year, one lucky participant wins the ultimate reward: the ALL-INCLUSIVE LAYOVER package. This Grand Prize includes a two-night stay (double occupancy) at a participating hotel in St. Joseph, Benton Harbor or Stevensville, plus gift certificates for restaurants, Makers Trail destinations and more.
How to Qualify:
Complete all levels of the Passport, including the bonus level, by April 30, 2027.
Submit your completed Passport through the app and fill out your full information.
Upload a photo of your hotel receipt showing proof of stay. The name on the receipt must match the name on your Passport.
Once your submission is complete, you’ll be automatically entered into the Grand Prize drawing.
Participants must be 21 years of age or older.
Limit one Passport per person.
The program is valid now through April 30, 2027.
Duplicate check-ins at the same location will not count toward rewards.
Rewards are available while supplies last and must be picked up from the Visit Southwest Michigan Welcome Center.
