Join us for a relaxing and creative evening at JLN Studio as we paint the beautiful St. Joseph Lighthouse using gouache paint! This guided step-by-step class is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike. Gouache is a vibrant, opaque medium that blends the softness of watercolor with the boldness of acrylic—making it fun, forgiving, and great for layering.
During class, you’ll create your own lighthouse-inspired painting on 9×12 or 11x14 watercolor paper while learning basic gouache techniques, blending, and details to bring this iconic Southwest Michigan scene to life.
