Our second exhibit of 2023 celebrates a special anniversary for the Berrien Springs Garden Club.
Gardening clubs have been supporting Berrien County’s green thumbs for decades, often providing community and support beyond the raised beds. And for the women (and men) of Berrien Springs, the garden club has been a key member of the village community since 1952.

This exhibit explores the story of its members, the projects they developed, and the ways even the smallest of seedlings have connected people in the days before social media and even TV. Visitors will be able to enjoy photos, memos, scrapbooks, and more on loan from the Garden Club and its various members over the years along with special garden-themed artifacts from the BCHA collections.

This exhibit will run from July 12th through September 30th. The exhibit will remain on display for Farmapalooza on October 1st. This exhibit is free but donations are welcomed to support other amazing programs like this!
