LECO’s Annual Fit 4 Fall 5K Run/Walk is returning for another year of family-friendly fun! This year’s race will take place Saturday, October 11, in St. Joseph, Michigan.
Chip start is at 9 am in front of Silver Beach County Park. This year’s Fit 4 Fall 5K will raise money to be divided among three nonprofit organizations—Caring Circle, Convoy of Hope, and the LOGAN Autism Learning Center of Southwest Michigan.
Attendees can expect to find a wide range of goodies at the Silent Auction. All items available for bid are donated by local businesses. Awards will be handed out to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in designated age categories, as well as the Top Overall Runner and Walker.
Last year, the race brought in over $30,000 for the selected charities. There were more than 450 registered racers, nearly 100 volunteers, and sponsors and donations came from businesses all throughout Berrien County.
