Eupnea
Event published by Box Factory for the Arts
CPR Dance: Inhale Movement, Southwest Michigan’s premiere contemporary dance company, will bring its dynamic movement style to the Box Factory for the Arts on Saturday, June 22, from 7-9 p.m.
The dance company was founded in 2022 with the belief that movement is as fundamental to existence as breath. It entered its third season with a performance titled “Eupnea,” which means quiet breathing. Dancers will present a new collection of work including “They Gathered” by CPR Dance founder Carolyn Pampalone Rabbers, which delves into the implications of femininity while examining interconnected themes like birth and death. Also featured are a dance choreographed by Ashley Deran and Emily Loar of Chicago-based Project Bound Dance, and a new work created by guest choreographer Sayiga Eugene Peabody, among others.
Admission: $12-15
