Cornerstone Alliance Mural

Jeff Pilkinton, an artist from Indiana, aimed to capture a vibrant spring and summer atmosphere with his mural. 

The mural was intended to bring life and color to an overlooked alley wall. It features a woman against a yellow background surrounded by bright pink flowers, catching the attention of passersby and serving as a warm welcome at the back entrance of the local restaurant Houndstooth and visitors to Cornerstone Alliance. 

Known for his participation in Chalk the Block, Pilkinton's mural contributes to the Benton Harbor Arts District by adding color and beauty to a previously unnoticed public space. Pilkinton describes art and design as his passions and painting as therapy, stating that being a street painter and mural artist is a workout.
