Worthenbury is in the heart of the Lake Michigan Shore Appellation immediately southeast of Baroda, an area designated for its ability to produce fine wines. There are now 12 wineries located within three miles of Worthenbury, including Baroda Founders, Chill Hill, Dablon, Domaine Berrien, Free Run, Gravity, Hickory Creek, Lake Michigan Vintners, Lemon Creek, Red Top, Round Barn, and Tabor Hill.
