Howard Band Shell

The Howard Band Shell is located in Downtown St. Joseph along the St. Joseph River at the corner of Lake Boulevard and Port Street. There are lovely views of both the St. Joseph River and Lake Michigan. The setting is a beautiful open-air venue that seats 500 people. 

The Band Shell hosts the Municipal Band concerts and the St Joseph Today-sponsored Brown Bag and Friday Night concerts. 

The Band Shell is available to rent for $400 per day Monday - Thursday and $500 per day Friday - Saturday. We only book weddings on Saturdays.

Rates are discounted for City residents who are using the facility for their personal events.
