Live at The Acorn: Corky Uncorked

Event published by The Acorn

107 Generation Drive
Three Oaks

(directions)

About a decade ago, Corky Siegel’s very first concert at the Acorn Theater was a solo presentation. There was such a large turn-out response, we had to sit audience members on the stage since Corky did not want to turn anyone who wanted to come away.  This show is a rare opportunity to experience this musical master of mirth at his very best. There will be amazing tales and stories,  edge-of-the-seat jaw dropping harmonica and piano fireworks all mixed in with his signature tongue-in-cheek humorous lyrics.  Best selling American novelist Tom Robbins calls Corky, "The Sage of the Southwest Coast,” Downbeat Magazine calls him, “A national treasure.”

Wry humor, fiery piano playing, and superb harmonica captivated the crowd. Kansas City Star

Siegel plays piano ... and ignites the crowd with his masterful blues mouth harp. - Billboard

Corky siegel held listeners visibly spellbound with an amazingly eclectic musical style. - Chicago Tribune

He plays wonderfully on piano as well as harmonica. Siegel has a fine blues touch, and he combines it all with a grand sense of humor and showmanship - San Francisco Examiner

He's a master of piano and harmonica, a superior entertainer, and a writer of unusual songs.  Who else writes blues about Idaho Potatoes? - Chicago Magazine

Admission: $30
