Designed to showcase the amazing talent in our region, the SMSO presents a concert featuring skills from a wide-variety of sources: - The acclaimed talents of soloist Jonathan Beyer and the Southwest Michigan Symphony Chorus for the epic cantata by William Walton, Belshazzar's Feast, which conveys the account of Babylon's fall as depicted in the Old Testament - A world premier of Alan Palider's (SMSO bassoonist) piece, Michigan Mosaic - The youthful talents of the Lake Michigan Youth Orchestra for its Side by Side piece with the SMSO.
