The Twin City Players announces the final show of its 2018-2019 Mainstage Season, the award-winning musical comedy The Addams Family a New Musical, book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, based on characters created by Charles Addams. The Addams Family a New Musical is the winner of a Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, a Drama League Award, and a Jeff Award!

The Addams Family features an original story, and it’s every father’s nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. If that weren’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he has never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will be different after the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents. The Addams family will have to face up to the one horrible thing they have managed to avoid for generations: Change.

Tickets are $15 (plus a $1 fee per ticket). Group rates are available. All seats reserved. Purchase tickets online at twincityplayers.org or through the TCP box office at 269-429-0400.
